It is interesting to note why so many put off sending their holiday cards each year. If you are one of these holiday card procrastinators, here are some tips to get through the holidays. It’s really not hard to understand putting them on the back burner with all the pressure on our time surrounding the holidays. Parties, shopping, volunteering, all take up precious time that makes writing holiday greetings a bit of a chore, one that gets put off.

The holidays are a great time to reconnect in a personnel manner in today’s digital age. The kind of card you send says something about the sender, be it a business, a family, or an individual. So this year, be sure to choose a card that is a reflection of your company or yourself. Religious cards are popular at the holiday times for this reason, but there’s lots of other things you can do to make a statement. Family, kids and pet photos are a great way to show off the one’s you love. If you like a certain song, you can send a card that plays that song. If you’re a gardener, you might send a card they can plant, If you care about the earth send an earth friendly card, if you want to make a political statement, promote philanthropy, or make someone laugh, send them a card that gets it done.

Whatever the card just make sure you send them this holiday season. New Years cards are always fun to get after the holiday mail box flood has subsided. Two years’ ago we actually sent our holiday card as a Valentine card and got lots of laughs and smiles about the latest holiday card ever sent.
