Tahoe Unveils Plantable Seed Paper Invites

There are so many great ways to get creative with our plantable seed paper wedding invitation suites. In a recent order, the happy couple decided to get crafty and add their own unique style to our Persimmon suite. They took the printed pieces from us, and tied each complete suite together with a simple knot, making each invitation its own little package.

As we hone in on the holiday season, love is in the air. And we all know that first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the all-important decision of which wedding stationery suites to choose. Green is the new white when it comes to weddings this season, and our earth-friendly, plantable wedding invitations are getting some well-deserved attention.

Our latest shout-out is courtesy of Woodsy Weddings, a blog dedicated to helping brides celebrate their big day using nature as a cathedral. They loved that instead of simply sending invitations that “will ultimately end up in many of [your] guests’ recycling bins and trash cans”, Bloomin’s seed paper Wedding Invitations “will live on forever as flowers in your guests’ gardens!” And we fancied their idea of using our plantable invitations as a “pre-wedding favor.”

Ok, here is a great product – growfetti. We are offering a package of about 400 little seeded flower shapes for $15.00. They are so fun I want to cover my floor with them and wade through them every time I come home. I want to sprinkle them on the tables at our neighborhood coffee shop and watch everyone smile when they sit down. I want to fly over Red Rocks amphitheater in a helicopter and dump a million of them over the crowd at the next concert but I won’t. No I wont, but I may sprinkle them on the tables next time I have a party at my house and I may put a sprinkling of them in the next letter I send out. They are a great wedding seed favor, you can’t beat the message, you know, “Our Love Grows” and on and on.

They’re made using our original  seed paper, the rough, textured and colorful paper that is packed with seeds. We get like…. 96 flowers I think out of an 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet. They are super cool, but a lot of work to pop all of those flower out of the sheet and get them into a bag.  Anyone need a job?         … just kidding
